KPRC 2 and American Furniture Warehouse awarded a $2,500 scholarship to EMERGE scholar and Spring Early College Academy student Iris Vences.
Spring Early College Academy is part of the Spring Independent School District.
Only 20 scholarships were awarded in 2025. Students selected for scholarships were nominated by their high schools.
