EMERGE is celebrating its largest class of graduating seniors—nearly 300 students from Houston ISD and Spring Branch ISD—headed to top-tier colleges and universities. Among them is Northbrook High School valedictorian Alex Vazquez, whose journey from caring for his siblings to earning a near full-ride to Pomona College showcases EMERGE’s impact. By providing intensive college counseling and inspiring students to dream bigger, EMERGE helps high-achieving students from low-income communities unlock transformational college opportunities and brighter futures.
