FAQ
Q: Do I need shooting experience to participate?
A: Not at all. Sporting clays is a welcoming sport for all skill levels, and the Greater Houston Sporting Club team is on hand to help first-timers get comfortable on the course.
Q: Can I attend if I’m not on a shooting team?
A: Yes! Non-team sponsorships allow you to attend the lunch and evening dinner and auction without participating in the shoot. Reach out to discuss options.
Q: How does a team work?
A: Teams are four people who rotate through stations on the course together. Most sponsorship levels include one or more complete teams — just bring your crew and we’ll handle the rest.
Q: What is Team Flurry?
A: Team Flurry is a bonus competitive shoot that gives teams an extra chance to rack up points and compete for prizes. It can be added on to most sponsorship levels.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Comfortable, casual outdoor attire is perfect. Closed-toe shoes are required on the course. Eye and ear protection are provided.
