Our 2023–2024 Impact Report tells the story of a transformational year. Together with our partners, donors, and dedicated team, EMERGE continued its mission to empower and equip high-achieving students from low-income communities to apply to, thrive at, and graduate from the nation’s best colleges.
A Year of Bold Steps and Milestones
Here’s a glimpse of what your support helped make possible:
- 73% of EMERGE students matriculated to a selective institution, including Columbia, Johns Hopkins, the University of Pennsylvania, Rice, and Harvard.
- 86% of students who enrolled at selective institutions graduated within six years.
- 43% of EMERGE students graduated from college with zero debt, and 93% graduated owing less than $30,000.
- We launched our first Alumni Board, building a supportive network for our more than 1,000 alumni.
- We unveiled a fresh new brand identity that reflects the sophistication and collegiate ambition of our students — representing both who we are today and the limitless potential of our future.
